Each upcycled leather bag is sourced for its quality — the kind of leather that has aged beautifully and deserves better than retirement. A local Aspen artist then works directly on the surface, painting abstract mountain scenes that respond to the leather’s own texture, color, and character.
The painted charm details — tassel, aspen leaf, customizable initial — are painted onto the leather itself, becoming part of the bag’s surface rather than additions to it. It’s a detail you have to see up close to fully appreciate.
