I’m grateful you’ve taken a moment to explore Déjà Nu Aspen. As the founder, I wanted to personally share a bit of my journey and passion with you.

I’ve been lucky to call Aspen my home for many years and to have raised my family here.  I’ve come to deeply appreciate its understated luxury and the rich stories woven into its fabric. With Déjà Nu, we set out to honor that spirit by reimagining high-end vintage pieces—think scarves from iconic houses like Hermès, Gucci, or Dior, as well as exquisite cottons and denims—transforming them into fresh, elevated classics with a mountain sensibility.

Our collections are crafted entirely by talented Colorado artisans who share a love for quality and sustainability. Each piece begins with something already loved—a vintage Levi’s jacket, a silk scarf from a past era—something with a story to tell. These heirloom materials are then thoughtfully transformed into one-of-a-kind creations. It’s a way to bring new life to treasures that might otherwise be tucked away in closets, and to create something that’s both chic and meaningful.

Many of the scarves we use in this first collection have come straight from local wardrobes. Pairing talented local artists with locally sourced materials and seeing how much beauty and creativity can arise from reimagining what’s already here has been truly inspiring.
